Ingredients
1 pound elbow macaroni
2 tablespoons butter
1 can of evaporated milk
2 cups or more of sharp cheddar or mild cheddar, (shredded) Meijer Brand is very good!
½ teaspoon kosher salt
Fresh black pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
• In a large pot of boiling, salted water cook the pasta to al dente.
• Drain pasta
• Stir milk, butter, salt and pepper into pasta
• Layer macaroni with cheese into a 2-quart casserole dish. Top with remaining cheese.
• Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is lightly browned and bubbly. Remove from oven and rest for five minutes before serving.
